A Dialogue with the Landscape

Kitchen N4 is born as a declaration of values. A project that places functionality, warmth, and a direct relationship with its surroundings at the forefront, understanding the kitchen as a living, open space deeply connected to the architecture that encloses it. Its language is calm and natural, where the honesty of materials and formal simplicity coexist with carefully integrated technical sophistication.

Designed for homes linked to the landscape, especially coastal environments or spaces where the interior is in constant dialogue with the exterior, N4 is conceived as a place of passage, meeting, and coexistence. Large openings, thoughtfully studied orientations, and an open layout allow natural light and the surrounding environment to become active parts of the project, integrating the landscape as another element of the home.

The kitchen is organized through a clear and balanced composition. A long, continuous work unit with a low, horizontal profile concentrates the main functions: preparation area, cooking, sink, appliances, and storage. Its light design reinforces a sense of openness and visual flow, allowing the space to breathe and maintain a direct relationship with the outdoors.

In contrast, a vertical volume integrates cold storage columns and enclosed storage. Clad in smooth surfaces and neutral tones, this element blends into the architecture, yielding prominence to natural wood. This decision balances the material intensity of the whole and offers a calmer, more welcoming reading of the space.

The Ease of Everyday Living

As a third gesture, ZABALAK incorporates a sideboard-style unit positioned in direct relation to the dining area. More domestic and open in character, this element acts as a link between the kitchen and the living space, combining closed modules with backlit open shelving that adds depth and a warm atmosphere. A space that highlights the model’s capacity for customization and its vocation to accompany everyday life.

Handles, far from being a mere detail, become an essential part of the project’s language. The combination of metal and wood—alternating materials depending on the type of front—adds visual richness and demonstrates the versatility of the system, naturally adapting to different styles and needs.

ZABALAK does not seek to impose itself. It is a kitchen that is felt rather than asserted, one that accompanies and organizes the space with discretion and character. In this project, it becomes the heart of the home—the point from which the kitchen, dining area, and living room are articulated. Architecture defines the boundaries, but it is the kitchen that brings cohesion, connection, and meaning to the domestic experience.

An honest and open proposal, where quality is not expressed through excess, but through proportion, materials, and attention to detail. A kitchen designed to be lived in, shared, and inhabited with natural ease.
