Architecture in Its Purest Form

Recognised with the Red Dot Award 2024, THE ROK redefines the outdoor kitchen as an architectural piece. A monolithic volume where design, innovation and materiality come together in an essential proposal, conceived to structure the space and accompany life outdoors. Beyond its function, it becomes a meeting point where experience, environment and shared time acquire a new meaning.

A recognition that reinforces a vision

The international recognition received by THE ROK not only validates the quality of its design, but also a way of understanding the outdoor kitchen through architecture, innovation and experience. In a highly competitive global context, this distinction positions REKKER’s proposal among the leading references in contemporary outdoor design.

Beyond the award itself, THE ROK represents the evolution of a way of working rooted in precision, craftsmanship and a constant drive to explore new solutions. A piece that goes beyond aesthetics to embody a broader vision where design, functionality and environment are seamlessly integrated.

A monolithic piece with architectural intent

THE ROK emerges as an evolution of the iconic K7, pushing its language towards a more sculptural, essential and defined expression. Its monolithic design takes shape as a pure volume that organises the outdoor space naturally, without the need for artifice.

Every formal decision responds to a pursuit of synthesis. The evolution of the Dual Texture door unifies interior and exterior within a single design language, integrating ergonomics and functionality directly into the piece. The result is a kitchen conceived as an autonomous architectural element, capable of structuring the space and creating a new centre of life outdoors.

Materiality, technology and experience

Crafted in MDi by Inalco, THE ROK combines a mineral aesthetic with advanced technological solutions. The integration of invisible induction allows cooking, preparing and serving on a single surface, eliminating boundaries and reinforcing the purity of the design.

The water area, sculpted in the same material, incorporates retractable taps and concealed solutions that preserve the visual clarity of the whole. The Carbone Edition finish, together with a carefully designed interior organisation, brings durability, precision and an intuitive user experience.

Beyond its function, THE ROK becomes a meeting point: a piece that invites a more conscious way of living outdoors, where design, innovation and craftsmanship come together to shape a new way of experiencing the kitchen.
